Cranio - Sacral

Duration: 45 hours
  • Introducing the principles of cranio-sacral osteopathy 
  • Anatomy and biomechanics of the neurocranium, the viscerocranium, the meningeal system, the sutures and the synchondrosis-spheno-basilaris (SSB). 
  • The circulatory tract 

What will I learn?

You will learn about the 5 elements of the equine crania-sacral system: Sutures, Meninges, Cerebrospinal fluid, The primary respiratory mechanism and the motions of the SSB & The inherent motions of the central nervous system and the sacrum
You will be trained to examine and normalize the equine cranio-sacral system by using a 10-step procedure.
You will learn the osteopathic relations between the cranio-sacral system and the parietal- and visceral system, and the influence on the vegetative integration.
On the propaedeutic day you will learn the anatomy and physiology of the circulatory tract.
